What’s New?

Microsoft told us they’d be rolling out more additions to this great UI kit, and they’ve delivered! The update announced today includes the following features:

Team site navigation and page layouts

Now you can include the left-hand navigation in your site designs. This is great if you’re wireframing a modern team site and want the navigation reflected in the design. Using this kit, you can create Team, Hub, and Communication sites.

Support for mobile layouts

You can also create layouts for mobile devices and tablets now! Well, you could always do this in SharePoint Online, but now you can include this design in your wireframing! This helps users visualize how their site will look on all devices before you ever construct the site. This can save time and iterations with the user, which in turn lets you get back to what you love, which is creating something awesome!

If you haven’t tried out Figma before (like me) and want to give this a try, you can try it right here! SharePoint Web UI Kit.
