Ever wish publishing SharePoint content was as easy as sending a message? Thanks to the new SharePoint Page Agent, that wish is now a reality. This feature, powered by M365 Copilot, is designed to make creating and styling SharePoint pages faster, easier, and more intuitive than ever before. And WOW… this thing is very impressive. Especially for a Frontier feature (which it currently is). You’ll want to know more about this, trust me.
In this post, I’ll share my first impressions after testing this new Page Agent, walk you through how it works, and explain why I think this is a big deal for anyone working with SharePoint. Site owners and page authors especially will love this new agent.
What Is the SharePoint Page Agent?
The Page Agent is part of
Microsoft 365’s growing ecosystem of Copilot agents. Think of it as an AI-powered assistant that helps you create SharePoint pages without the usual manual steps. Instead of opening SharePoint, creating a blank page, and formatting everything yourself, you can simply have a conversation with the agent.
Why This Matters
If you’ve ever spent hours formatting a SharePoint page, you know how tedious it can be. Adding sections, styling text, inserting images… it all takes time. The SharePoint Page Agent changes that. It’s conversational, fast, and integrated with Microsoft 365 tools you already use, like Teams and Copilot.
My First Impressions
1. Ease of Use
into a SharePoint page is effortless. You can chat directly with the agent or even @mention it in Copilot. No digging through menus or navigating complex settings. You just tell it what you need. Period.2. Time-Saving
3. Control
4. Styling

5. Future Potential

Cloud platforms like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes are powerful — but they don’t always protect your data the way you think. Accidental deletions, ransomware, and compliance gaps can still cause serious disruptions.
That’s why I’ve partnered with Afi, a modern backup and recovery solution built for today’s multi-cloud environments. Afi offers full-fidelity restores, encrypted full-text search, version history, and even self-service recovery — so users can get their data back without waiting on IT.

Two Ways to Use It
- Direct Chat: Open the agent and tell it what you need. Attach your document, answer a few questions, and let it build the page.
- @Mention in Copilot: You don’t even have to open the agent directly. From a regular Copilot chat, @mention the Page Agent and it joins the conversation. This is a glimpse into the future of how multiple Copilot agents will work together.
What Stood Out During Testing
One of the coolest features is the ability to add sections with AI. This is also a feature of M365 Copilot inside SharePoint, which I covered in this video. You can type a prompt or attach more documents, and the agent will expand your page intelligently. This pairs so well with the Page Agent. Combine that with design ideas and you’ve got a workflow that feels modern and efficient.
The Bottom Line
The SharePoint Page Agent is more than a new feature. It’s a sign of where Microsoft is taking collaboration and content creation. If you’re a SharePoint user with an M365 Copilot license, this is going to change how you work.
Why Copilot Agents Are the Future
The SharePoint Page Agent is just one example of what Copilot agents can do. These agents aren’t just shortcuts… they’re a new way of working. Instead of navigating menus and clicking buttons, you have conversations. You describe what you want, and the agent figures out how to make it happen.
Tips for Getting Started
- Add the Agent to Your Account: You’ll need to find it in the agent store and click “Add.” It’s currently part of Microsoft’s Frontier program.
- Start Simple: Begin with a single document and a clear prompt. For example: “Create a SharePoint page about the XD500 drone. Include an overview, benefits, and pricing.”
- Refine in SharePoint: Use Copilot Sections in SharePoint to add more. The more context you give, the better the results. Try adding details like “Make it visually appealing” or “Include a testimonial section.”
- Use Design Ideas: After the page is created, use SharePoint’s design ideas to refine the look.
- Stay in Control: Remember, the agent creates drafts. Review everything before publishing.

Final Thoughts
The SharePoint Page Agent isn’t perfect. You’ll still need to tweak designs and add imagery. But as a first step toward conversational content creation, it’s impressive. It saves time, reduces friction, and makes SharePoint feel modern.
